Runway regeneration - Vigo Airport (VGO)

Services performed:

• Repaving of the runway, increase of its bearing capacity and resolution of pathologies
• Correction of runway and roadside cross slopes for regulatory compliance
• Improvement of the longitudinal and transversal drainage of the runway.
• Demolition of the old turning platform located in the vicinity of the headworks 19
• Complete replacement of beacons with new LED technology
• Installation of double beaconing circuits in single-circuit installations
• Replacement of the current comb with a bank of pipes on the runway and taxiways, including new transformers, circuits and regulators.
• Installation of new CT of the “glide path”.
• Clearing and adaptation of the area between the margin and the comb to be demolished.
• Complete disassembly and replacement of all existing track installations and systems.
• Replacement of the runway and taxiway horizontal signage following the signage criteria established in EXA 40, Aena S.M.E, S.A.’s Signage Regulation Manual.
